Our Vineyard
Located on the right bank of the Gironde Estuary on the highest point of Saint-Palais, our 60 hectares vineyards overlook the river in front of the famous vineyards of Saint-Estèphe.
Lying on a plateau (alt.40m) straight beside the winery, our protected row of vines grow over soils of fine gravel, clayey sandy loam. This warm and draining terroir ensures proper regulation of water for the vines without excess wet year or dry year water stress. This dominant position protected our vineyard many times from late frost.

Our Care
Eleven months of the year are devoted to vineyard management. The control of the canopy optimises grapevine yield, improves fruit quality, reduces the risk of disease, improves pest control and facilitate other vineyard operation. Also to optimize the quality of the grape, vintage after vintage, we chose the best orientation for our rows of vines, north to south, to maximize sunlight exposure while limiting the heating or direct radiation from the afternoon sun.
