Our Story

First vines are planted
After the First World War (1914-1918), in the hamlet ‘Chêne Rond’ in Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde by Ulysse Eymas, the great grandfather.
First wines are sold
René Eymas, the grandfather takes over the vineyard after the Second World War (1940-1945) and sells the wine of Château Le Chêne Rond to the negociants of Bordeaux.
Château La Rose Bellevue
Jean-Pierre Eymas, the father and Nicole his wife, extend the vineyard up to the hills of Saint-Palais and settle their new winery. Château La Rose Bellevue was born.
Birth of a range
Jérôme Eymas, the son, takes over the winery from his parent and intends to create a range of wines for the château.
Château La Fleur Bellevue
Château Le Chêne Rond name is changed into Château La Fleur Bellevue.
La Rose Blossoms
Valérie Eymas, wife of Jérôme Eymas joins the team to develop the distribution in France and other countries, moving it to a more sustainable viticulture.
Château Belle Bergère
Acquiring a vineyard of 15 hectares adjoining our 43hectares. Over the course of these generation the property now has expanded to 60 hectares.
