The Belle Bergère Collection
We took over in 2016, the Château Belle Bergère, a 15 hectares wine estate adjoining our 43 hectares vineyards.
The terroir of the borders of the hills of St Palais and St Caprais offers excellent soil of sand and lime where great wines can still be produced and reveal characterful & fruity wines.
This collection celebrates our direct lineage with our parents & grandparents winemaking skills. These wines demonstrate the diversity and the great quality of easy drinking wines from Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux
Château Belle Bergére - White
85% Sauvignon Blanc & 5% Muscadelle fermented in a 100% stainless steel tank.
Tasting Notes:
Fresh fruity as citrus, grapefruit and passion fruit notes
CHÂTEAU BELLE BERGÉRE - Red
75% Merlot & 25% Cabernet Sauvignon fermented in a 100% stainless steel tank.
Tasting Notes:
Fresh and fruity. Round and elegant liquorice notes
CHÂTEAU BELLE BERGÉRE - Rosé
40% Merlot & 60% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Press Rosé
Tasting Notes:
Powerful nose with strawberry notes and fruit drops. Mouth is generous, crisp and well balanced.
Château Belle Bergére - Signature White
85% Sauvignon Blanc & 15% Muscadelle – 100% Old vines – Fermented in French Oak
Tasting Notes:
Fleshy, vanilla, grilled flavour, white fruit, fruity, oak well integrated.
CHÂTEAU BELLE BERGÉRE - Signature Red
75% Merlot & 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. 100% Old vines – Fermented in French Oak
Tasting Notes:
Generous in the mouth, oak is elegant. Fruit is vibrant. Black fruits (blackcurrant) and red (sherry).
